- All domestic airlines in India except Air India allow 15 Kg check in Luggage and 07 kg cabin Luggage, extra luggage can be bought in advance or on spot or Air India, in most of the cases allows 25 kg check in Luggage and 07 Kg Cabin Luggage however, while using small aircraft on regional routes, they allow only 15 kg check in Luggage and 07 kg cabin luggage, hence same must be recheck at the time of finalizing the reservation.
Itinerary
Arrive Indira Gandhi International airport, meet and greet at the airport by our company representative. Transfer to hotel. Hotel check in at 1200 Hrs. Night stay in Delhi.
After breakfast at hotel later morning drive through India Gate, President House, Parliament House and other Govt. Buildings. Visit Old Delhi + New Delhi with a tourist guide including: Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Afternoon visit: Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Mosque) and Raj Ghat – cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later take Cycle rickshaw Ride.
Night stay in Delhi.
Later you will proceed to visit Agra fort with guide - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Later free time in Afternoon for shopping in local market. In Evening explore Taj Mahal with Guide: Taj Mahal - TAJ MAHAL- the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, built it in 1631 in the memory of his second wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Night stay in Agra.
Early morning start with sun rise view of Taj Mahal (Optional), breakfast at the hotel. Later drive Jaipur with an English speaking driver via explores Fatehpur Sikri (Known as -The Ghost city). On arrival Jaipur, transfer to hotel a check in. Night stay in Jaipur.
Early breakfast, morning Excursion trip to Amber Fort and enjoy elephant safari (on direct payment basis).Later you have sightseeing of Jaipur city with tour guide. Visit: City palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and Birla Temple. Later in the evening you can move around traditional colorful market of Jaipur. Finally come back to hotel and Night stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast you will be transferred to Jaipur airport to connect your flight to Amritsar (Punjab) via Delhi or direction arrival In Amritsar you will be met at the airport by our local office staff and transferred to your hotel. Later, you will visit Golden Temple: Amritsar (means the place where nectar is found) is located in the northwestern state of Punjab – Most popular and holy destination of Sikhism.
Golden Temple:– at the center of its walled old town, The Gilded Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest Gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe. Later come back to hotel and Night stay in Amritsar
After breakfast you will have half day guided sightseeing tour of Amritsar. We again visit The Golden Temple and Jaliawala Bagh (a memorial garden built in 1951) in the memory of massacre on 13th April 1919 when a peaceful gathering of people were attacked by British Army. It is said that 1526 people got killed and many more were injured. There is a well located in the middle of the Garden. Many innocent people jumped into this well to save themselves from razing bullets of British Army. We also visit Durgiyana Temple (a replica of Golden Temple). This Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. We also visit Maharajah Ranjit Singh Museum, Partition Museum and Central Sikh Museum. We return to our hotel for a short rest and lunch break Afternoon excursion to Wagah border (INDIA/PAKISTAN BORDER) to witness the spectacular Flag Ceremony. It is a symbol of the two countries’ rivalry, as well as brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations Night stay in Amritsar.
After breakfast, subsequently you will be taken to Amritsar airport to connect your flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi, meet / assist and proceed to your hotel. Night at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel Rest of the day free for independent activities.
As today is your last day of the tour, you can visit various museums in Delhi or visit City Centre – The Connaught Circus and enjoy a meal in a local restaurant or just go for shopping for souvenirs. Night stay in Delhi.
Breakfast at hotel later free for your own till departure transfer to Airport. Hotel checks out at 1200 Hrs.
